2013 Lillie Sauvignon Blanc


Our 2013 Lillie exhibits classic Sauvignon Blanc aromas and flavor profile. Part grapefruit and lemongrass are present in the perfume, and a hint of oak aging on the nose that is intended to draw down the brightness of the wine. As the wine spends time in the glass the nose gains weight and adds a broader richness of almond and fig which carries through to the front of the palate before the austerity of the high acid vintage cleans the palate with a citrus rind freshness and a salinity that makes this a wine a candidate to consider cellaring.

2012 Napa Valley Red Wine "Gold"


The earthy, loam-soil aromas are most apparent in the glass as they dust over a forest floor bramble of fruit and flowers that is accentuated with hints of mint and herbal Cabernet Sauvignon freshness. The palate remains dark with a core of kirsch flavors but mirrors the dustiness on the nose by leaving a bittersweet chocolate texture on the finish. The wine’s overall presence on the palate is of medium weight and will be best served at cellar temperature. .
