The freshness remains the signature of the vineyard and the vintage as the wine lingers on your palate amidst a dusty, bittersweet chocolate structure.

Boasting ample bright fruit, claret-like elegance and signature Larkmead gravel notes, the second release of our Napa Valley Red Blend is anchored by the power of the estate’s Cabernet Sauvignon. Sourced from seven separate parcels from throughout the estate, this Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the diverse soils and terroirs of the 110 acre vineyard.

Immediate richness and depth to the palate: cantaloupe melon, lemongrass, flint and honey. Beautifully integrated multi-dimensional palate. Arising from the lowest yielding Sauvignon Blanc vintage in Napa history, the wine radiates pure vine extract and natural fruit density.

It is no coincidence that both the label design and wine style are based on classic Larkmead wines from the early 1980s, marking the beginning of a new era in Larkmead’s history. The original label was designed by our owner Kate Solari Baker, a talented watercolor artist, thus lending her name to this unique bottling.
