2008 Larkmead Firebelle Dinner
The Second Annual Firebelle Dinner was held April 5th and celebrated two significant anniversaries at Larkmead:
- Larkmead Vineyards has been owned by the Solari family for 60 years
- Our winemaker Andy Smith has been crafting Larkmead wines for a decade
A four course dinner paired with past and current Larkmead Estate wines was prepared by Chef Adam Goldring and served by Larkmead staff in the Tank Room. The meal began with a quail and rabbit country pate paired with 2002 Larkmead Merlot. Steak Fiorentina served with Potatoes Gratin Dauphinoise followed. 2001 Larkmead Solari Reserve and 2004 Larkmead LMV Salon from magnum's were poured alongside the main course. A cheese course followed with a barrel sample of 2006 Larkmead Solari Reserve. Panacotta with a warm Bitter Chocolate Sauce concluded the lovely evening.
